Bakewell Nursery School is privately owned by Mr & Mrs Teale.

Mrs Teale is a fully qualified teacher with 27 years of early years experience in LEA schools, 20 of which have been devoted to nursery children.

Over the years, Mrs Teale has received many statements of excellence from Ofsted.

Our Nursery is based in a delightful grade II listed property which is situated in the centre of the picturesque market town of Bakewell.

Outdoor play is an essential part of Nursery life, giving children the opportunity to use the environment as a source of learning. We are fortunate to have a lovely large lawned garden area where children can not only enjoy slides, climbing frames and tunnels to enhance physical development skills, but also have access to a wide variety of educational resources which act as an extension to the learning experiences on offer indoors.
