Something new is always happening - so don't forget to have a look!

Our new amazing Outside Area!

We have been extemely busy and adventurous this year following our decision to improve and enhance our outdoor area!

With the help of Derbyshire County Council Early Years Funding and lots of suggestions and designs from the children themselves, we are embarking on a huge project - and quite a daunting one! We want to ensure this new Play Area is exactly what the children want.

Extensive work on our brand new Outside Area will begin in September 2010!

Brand new safe 'artificial' grass and rubberised surfaces will be installed for new climbing equipment and wheeled vehicles. There will be a new climbing frame, rope-swing bridge, a new 'toadstool seating area' and exciting musical instrument panels for the children to play and enjoy!

There will also be a 'Sensory Garden Area' for the children to explore and have fun in their wellies! A new 'log weave' will be installed in this area with lots of differently-sized stepping stones to jump on, hop off and sit on for a chat!

Our application for funding was a lengthy and challenging process! However, it has all been worthwhile and the granting of funding - together with our own considerable investment - is proof of Early Years confidence in our sustainability as a thriving, successful Nursery, not only today but also in the years to come!

Wow! Watch this space! We'll keep you informed on our progress!
