In our opinion to be able to teach children well is a skill that can, over a period of time, be learned-but as a teacher of very young children the responsibility of introducing a young child to a whole new world of learning social skills requires a precious touch; a gift that is not as easily acquired or learned, but rather something that comes from within. We have no doubt that you have this gift. You have a natural ability to bring out the best in each child and your love and dedication is of such a high standard –it shouldn't go unrecognised.
Our eldest child is now 10 years old but we can still recall the anxiety we felt bringing her to the Nursery School for the first time. Relinquishing some of our responsibilities to someone else was a little daunting! We now know that our anxieties were unfounded as we came to realise that you are an excellent teacher and very quickly we felt all our children have been taught and inspired by a very special person.
As we have revisited the Nursery to bring and collect our children over the years-the enthusiasm you have shown is clear in countless ways-the evidence of which was expressed for all to see was in your recent Ofsted reports-we know that such well deserved praise is a reflection of your hard work, dedication and inspiring management skills in leading your team.
As we look back over this year and the progress our son has made-we marvel that once again, under your learning direction, another of our children is able to read, write, count and confidently interact with others in readiness for his first year in Reception.
In conclusion may we give you and your team a huge thank you for all the excellent work you have done and continue to do-giving your best, not only to our children but to countless others, who have passed through your caring hands. You have touched their lives and have given them a sure foundation upon which if they build-they cannot fail.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and all your staff so much for the fantastic love, care and attention you have shown to our son-not to mention all the fun and laughter he has had with you all! All your staff are wonderful but I would like to express my sincere thanks to both you and Miss Adlington for all the educational time you have spent with him. Both I and my husband have seen a huge change in Charlie's reading and writing! I would have no problem recommending Bakewell Nursery School!

I am both dazzled and encouraged by my three year old's capacity to learn at such an early age. Thank you!

Our son has really enjoyed his years at Bakewell Nursery School and we would like to thank you and your staff for looking after him so well and for all that you have taught him. We will certainly recommend you to anyone who is looking for the best Nursery School in the area!

To everyone at Bakewell Nursery School and to Mrs Teale especially-Thank you for all the wonderful times I've had with you! I've really enjoyed my ‘lessons', learning about letters, shapes and numbers and I should be well armed to start school in September.

It is evident that you put a huge amount of time and effort into ensuring the Under Threes Unit is stimulating and enjoyable! I have been very impressed with Ella's development over the last year! I am also very grateful for the kindness and warmth Ella has been shown by you-especially at first when she was finding it difficult to settle in!

I could go out to work, knowing my children were safe and well cared for! On my return from work, my children had been very busy baking, painting and always having fun! They would always have been outside in the garden or to the park. Thank you Miss Garratt!
