The Curriculum

All children are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities to extend and build upon their interests and existing skills and knowledge through themes that are meaningful and exciting! It is important that children enjoy coming to the Nursery and are eager to learn.

For young children, play is the vehicle by which they gain access to the curriculum and how they learn; they need to be both physically and mentally active. Our aim, therefore, is to ensure our children are fully involved in first-hand experiences where they are making choices which develop their confidence, help to take responsibility for their own learning and help them to become more independent.

Through sensitive adult intervention, observations and continuous assessments we encourage children to investigate, reason, solve problems, observe and express their own thoughts. We want your child to feel happy and secure and our objective is to encourage each child to work towards reaching his/her full potential.
