Hello! My name is Miss Dore and I am currently working in our Under Threes Unit : Toddlers.

I absolutely love stories! Reading them, telling them ........ hearing them!
Babies and very young children love rhythm, rhyme, repetition and the sound of your voice! Children gain most of their developing language initially from familiar adults' voices - so it's vital for a child's development that a story is not only entertaining but that it's stimulating and can retain a child's interest too! staff have produced many various exciting 'Story Sacks' with lots of resources to aid the story telling! Mrs Teale has even awarded prizes for the best 'Story Sack' in the Nursery! The children love these and so do we!
