Hello! My name is Miss Adlington and I am the Senior Nursery Nurse at Bakewell Nursery School! I joined Bakewell Nursery School in February 2005. I have now become a mum myself and realise only too well how difficult it is to juggle parenting/living - with having fun! I understand how crucial it is to find those “special” people who can sensitively care for our children and encourage and inspire their development.

It is evident that you put a huge amount of time and effort into ensuring the Under Threes Unit is stimulating and enjoyable! I have been very impressed with Ella's development over the last year! I am also very grateful for the kindness and warmth Ella has been shown by you-especially at first when she was finding it difficult to settle in!

those early years are happy ones full of laughter! That's the first thing I noticed when I walked through the doors at Bakewell Nursery School-everyone's smiling and having a wonderful time! Come and see!

Staff remain consistent in their Units to ensure continuity of care and this enables them to build a strong relationship with your child. We have an on going programme of staff training in order for us to enhance our practice and continually develop new ideas!

As our 'Health and Safety Co-ordinator' I check on a daily basis, that the environment our children are exremely keen to explore is safe and secure. I also ensure procedures regarding our children's health and development are strictly adhered to. We have just recently achieved 'Outstanding' in our Enviromental Health report!

We also ensure every member of staff undergoes training regarding Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Children.
